Eric is the founder of Sucharski Law Firm LLC and has practiced exclusively in the areas of family law throughout his career. With both trial litigation experience and proven success in negotiating strategic settlement of complex family law matters, Eric implements a measured tactical approach through knowledge of the law and understanding the needs of his clients and their families. The firm’s practice philosophy aims to strategically manage what may become very challenging emotional and financial issues in this highly sensitive area of legal practice.

Eric graduated from the United States Naval Academy and served for 11 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy. After more than a decade of experience as a senior corporate executive, he attended Loyola University Chicago School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. His many years of military/corporate leadership experience, coupled with his own personal experiences, offers clients a unique perspective regarding how to approach and negotiate settlement of very challenging impasses that parties in family law matters may encounter.

Eric is no stranger to the emotions, concerns and uncertainty that can accompany family law matters, as he experienced his own divorce over 16 years ago with young children. His primary goal is to streamline the process as much as possible to obtain the most favorable outcome for his clients so they can move forward with dignity.
